Privacy Policy
Short version: I use PostHog to see how this site is used, including session recordings. It only runs if you say yes. Here's the full version.
You haven't made a choice yet — the banner at the bottom of the screen is waiting for you.
Who's responsible
This site (anja-renggli.ch) is run by Anja Renggli, trading as at creation gmbh, based in Steinerberg, Switzerland. For anything privacy-related, write to hello@anja-renggli.ch.
What gets collected, and why
If you accept, this site uses PostHog for analytics: which pages you visit, roughly where from (derived from your IP, which itself isn't stored longer than needed for that), your browser and device type, and how you move through the site. This includes session recordings — PostHog reconstructs your clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on the pages you visit, so I can see where things are confusing or broken. Form fields are masked by default, so what you type isn't recorded.
I use this purely to understand how the site is actually used and to improve it — not to build an ad profile of you, and not to sell anything to anyone.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies, the legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it by clicking "Accept" on the cookie banner, and you can withdraw it at any time — either here on this page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Where the data goes
PostHog processes this data on servers in the United States. Transfers outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA rely on PostHog's standard contractual safeguards. Nothing collected here is sold, rented or otherwise shared with advertisers.
How long it's kept
PostHog retains event and session recording data according to its own data retention settings on this account, after which it's deleted. You can ask me to have your data deleted sooner at any time — see "Your rights" below.
Storage that isn't analytics
Separately from PostHog, this site stores a few small, non-tracking preferences in your browser's local storage: your cookie choice itself, whether you've dismissed a particular toast, and whether a couple of playful easter eggs on the site are switched on. None of that is sent anywhere or used to identify you — it never leaves your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Swiss DPA, you can ask to see what's held about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to the processing, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to hello@anja-renggli.ch and I'll sort it out. If you're not satisfied with the answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if the GDPR applies to you, your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, I'll update this page and the date below.
